Me and my mother planned a journey to Mira Road which took almost seven hours. After I found the agent's office he asked me to wait as one other girl is going to come. After 20-25 minutes,a girl around 20-21 arrived with her boy friend. We headed to the place where we were supposed to stay.
After 20 minutes walk we entered in a building. It was quiet in dilapidated. Still I gathered my courage as I wanted to be in the city any how.
At last we reached. It was a 1RK with 2 closed balconies. These balconies were just 5 by 8 and already two girls were residing there. It was a muslim family and the other girl was quiet religious she directly said 'NO' even I was very upset with the entire scene. My mother was happy because she thought that I might leave the idea of being in MUMBAI...

Mumbai:- City of dreams
Then he explained me every thing and I realized that now I have to search a shelter in western suburbs. I was left bounced.
I came back to my native and started searching hostels and P.G.accommodations through net. As I was from small town,my budget was also very small because at my place you get a one room kitchen in just 1000/- after going through various sites I came to know that for a P.G. accommodation minimum charges are just Rs.2000/- and Rs.2000/- is deposit. I was very keen to join the job so I decided to ask for the money to my parents who were against my decision of going to Mumbai.
I got reference on a site called up and fixed the appointment with the agent. He was offering a place in just 1200/- without any deposit. I was on cloud nine because the place was at Mira Road. After the vital information of my senior I had checked the map,so I knew that Mira Road is near by Borivali.Ultimately I got the place...hurrah...

Bombay:-City of seven Islands----Mumbai City of Dreams
3rd Jan 2008,first day in Mumbai. A huge city of dreams and seven islands. I happened to be at Mumbai earlier but never alone, without any knowledge of locals, lines and suburbs.
This time I was alone, scared and frighten.I was supposed to join my office at Borivali (W). Was completely unaware that Dombivali and Borivali are two different directions. Initially I thought of being at my aunt's place who resides at Dombivali. I communicated the same thing to my would be seniors.A person who interviewed me gave me the piece of vital information that Borivali is on western line and Dombivali is on central.I ended up in asking him "what do you mean by lines?"
